Nigiri is "sushi" in it's most pure form: traditionally aromatic short grained rice marinated in the traditional way, topped most commonly with the freshest, hand selected seafood; sometimes with a thin ribbon of seaweed wrapped around it. Maguro (Tuna) Nigiri is the most common type of sushi recommended for newcomers.
Maki means 'roll'- and refers to any sushi that is rolled up, before being sliced into 6 perfectly sized portions. The popular California Roll is a type of maki, but the varieties are almost limitless!
Sashimi is the best cut of the freshest meats; most often seafood which are personally selected by our chef daily- prepared for each individual order. Traditionally, it is enjoyed in combination with your favorite sushi- any type.
